MyTinyWorld has remastered and reproduced the whole range of county maps originally produced by John Speed, the most famous and well known English map maker from the late 1500s to the early 1600s. Each of these maps was originally drawn on paper and then engraved by hand on to a large copper plate. The plates would then be used to print the monochrome maps with any colour being added by hand using water colours. These county maps from the United Kingdom have been carefully restored, cleaned and then re-coloured - perfect if your scene requires newer looking maps. We also sell this set with ageing effects applied. There are 60 maps available in the County Maps of the UK range.
