Product Description Using the proven filtering media TabTec technology, the MSA miniSCAPE is a single use escape device with 5 minutes of service time. Approv ed as ABEK-5, according to DIN 58647-T7 miniSCAPE protects against numerous toxic gases or vapours e.g.: - Organic vapours, solvents, e.g. benzene, tetrachloro ethane, trichloroethylene. - Inorganic gases, e.g. hydrogen halides, hydrogen cyanide, hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide, ammonia. The miniSCAPE is fitted with a comfortable silicon mouthpiece directly connected to the filter housing. A nose clip is attached to the unit by a securing cord. The miniSCAPE is stored in an impact resistant plastic case, which can be quickly and easily opened by pulling the sealed tab located on the front. Simple instructions for use are readily visible from the outside. In case of emergency, it can be donned very quickly and is operational immediately. The hygienic and convenient plastic casing allows frequent distribution to different persons, for example, mechanics, visitors or shift workers. Small and handy, the miniSCAPE fits into the pocket of a lab overall or any working clothes.It can also be carried on the belt, with the very practical integrated belt clip. Directions Open the plastic case, remove the filter, place the mouthpiece in the mouth, secure the nose clip, ensure a snug fit. Safety Warning Warning: Do not use in environments with oxygen deficiency. Use only for short-term emergency escape. Do not use if the filter is damaged or shows signs of aging. Replace the filter after 5 minutes of use. Not suitable for use with positive pressure masks. Always ensure proper seal and fit when using the mask. Keep out of reach of children.
