Product description
Product Description Bedfordshire champion onion seed by Mr. Fothergill's. Heavy cropping, long storing. A favourite yielding large, well flavoured yellow to light brown globes. Excellent keeping qualities. Useful Information: Vitamin C Sow and grow: Outdoors: Sow thinly March-April, where they are to crop, 1.5 cm (1/2-inch) deep, directly into finely-prepared, well-dug, fertile soil, which has already been watered. Allow 30 cm (1-feet) between rows. Seedlings usually appear in 14-28 days. Thin plants to 23 cm (9-inch) apart. Transplant thinnings or use in salads. Or sow indoors, January-April, for larger bulbs, 0.5 cm (1/4-inch) deep, in a tray of seed compost. Water well and maintain a temperature of 15-20 degree C (60-68 degree F). Keep moist. Transplant, 5 cm (2") apart, to other trays when large enough to handle. Gradually accustom young plants to outside conditions (avoid frosts), before planting out 23 cm (9-inch) apart, during April-May. Harvest: August-September. Hints and tips: Encourage ripening by gently turning down the foliage as it starts to turn yellow. Allow to dry before storing in a cool, dry room. Box Contains 1x 350 Seeds Pack

I wrote to Bigamart's customer support and they accompanied the process of reshipping the item until it finally arrived. I felt a genuine effort to solve the problem till it was finally solved.
The package was here in Australia from England in a few days โ so quick! Something was missing and they refunded it straight away. Pretty happy with these guys.
