Useful Information: Hardy Perennial (HP); Partial shade; Suitable for cutting; Perfect for Pollination Sow and Grow: Sow outdoors, April-July, in a seed bed, 0.5 cm (1/4-inch) deep, directly into finely-prepared, well-drained soil, which has already been watered. Seedlings appear in 14-28 days. Thin seedlings to 5 cm (2-inch) apart, when large enough to handle. Plant out to flowering position in autumn, allowing 30 cm (1-feet) between plants. Or sow indoors in April, 0.5 cm (1/4-inch) deep, in a tray of compost. Water well and place in a cold frame or unheated greenhouse. Keep moist. Transplant individually, when large enough to handle, to 7.5 cm (3-inch) pots. Always hold seedlings by a leaf and never by the stem.
