The wonderfully imaginative Moominvalley is filled with the Moomin characters created by Tove Jansson, who was an artist and writer from Finland. Nine books, four picture books and a comic strip were released between 1945 and 1975 (published in Swedish). There have also been various cartoons and animated tv series based on the original comics and illustration.
