MOLYSLIP® ARVINA FM2 is a food grade grease specially designed for lubricating bearings, rollers and other lubricating points operating in areas where food is prepared or cooked. The smooth translucent grease is non melting and operates to high temperatures of 150°C, providing lasting lubrication due to good oxidation stability and being resistant to water washout. The high purity base oil is combined with a high performing corrosion system that is anti wear, anti corrosion and anti oxidant, meaning ARVINA FM2 can be used in a wide range of operating conditions. ARVINA FM2 is NSF H1 registered (161582) food grade bearing grease suitable for use in ball and roller bearings and numerous other general lubrication points operating in the temperature range -40°C up to 150°C. HOW TO USE: - Remove the plastic cap from the cartridge and insert this end into the body of your grease gun. You may need to twist the cartridge slightly to seat it all the way. - Remove the seal from the opposite end, ensuring it’s fully removed with no leftover pieces. - With the cartridge loaded, screw the body onto the head of the grease gun a few threads without fully tightening it (leave it loose at this point). - Twist the plunger-rod handle and release the spring. - Push the plunger-rod handle all the way into the grease gun and tighten up the grease-gun body completely. Tightening at this point allows any trapped air to be released. - With a rag in hand, pump the handle to prime the grease gun until grease starts to flow. This may take several pumps to allow any air trapped in the cartridge to release. - If the grease gun fails to prime, remove the plug on the end of the grease-gun head and continue priming. This shortens the distance the grease travels and helps remove the air. Once grease emerges from the plug opening, install the plug and continue priming until the gun is pumping grease properly.
