The Nylon fixings solid pre drilled tip helps guide the screw along the threads and helps lock it in place. The tapered rings with six alternating ridges and lugs which are offset at 30 degrees help lock the plug in place during installation on vertical surfaces such as ceilings. Its ridges help aid the deformation path of the plug. The plugs flange and four locking tab provides optimal load holding capacity and prevent the plug from rotating.
