- SOW: March to June, HARVEST: April to November, HEIGHT: 90cm, PREFERS: Partial Shade, SEEDS: 1250 Approx.
- FOR INDOOR SOWING: WHEN - March to June. WHERE - In trays of seed compost. HOW - Cover the seeds lightly with fine compost and firm gently. Cover tray with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Seedlings appear 14-35 days. CARE - Remove cover when seedlings appear. Thin as necessary and when large enough acclimatise to outside conditions then transplant to final position, spacing 30cm apart. Contain invasive roots by growing in an old bottomless bucket or container sunk into the ground. HARVEST – April to November, pick the leaves as required.
- FOR OUTDOOR SOWING: WHEN - May to June. WHERE - In a well prepared seed bed. HOW - Sow thinly, cover lightly with fine soil. CARE - Thin as necessary and transplant to final position, spacing 30cm apart. Contain invasive roots by growing in an old bottomless bucket or container sunk into the ground. HARVEST – April to November, pick the leaves as required.
