Product description
This set includes a Minoyaki emerald-colored Kyusu teapot and two yunomi teacups. Mino Kyusu is an authentic Japanese teapot designed for both beauty and functionality. The teapot is equipped with an obi chakoshi (belt strainer): a stainless steel net covering the inner circumference of the teapot. The tea leaves have room to spread in hot water, enhancing the original taste and aroma of the tea. The flow is smooth and not obstructed by tea leaves when pouring. This fine mesh net is excellent for use with very fine tea leaves, such as deep-steamed tea (fukamushi sencha).The kyusu has a 350 ml capacit. A yunomi is a form of teacup. Unlike the more formal chawan tea bowl which is used during the Japanese tea ceremony, the yunomi is made for daily (or informal) tea drinking.
