• Crepe fabrics, originally made from silk, are now commonly produced using polyester, viscose, or synthetic fibres. Created through a process called hard twisting, crepe varies from lightweight to heavyweight, offering beautiful drape and textures from wrinkled to smooth.
• This is a lovely light weight fabric ideal for dressmaking. This fabric is available in a great variety of colours and weighs approximately 79 grams per square metre.
• Suggested Washing Instructions: 30 degrees. Please allow 10% shrinkage for all fabrics to be on the safe side and always test a sample first to find the most suitable way to wash your chosen fabrics.
• Approx Width: 110cm / 44" - Our fabrics are cut off the roll and will always be sent in one continuous length. If for any reason we cannot send your fabric in one piece we will contact you to discuss the options.
• For all fabrics we advise washing before making up in the same manner as you would with subsequent washes (including drying methods) to remove any shrinkage

This budget polyester crepe fabric has a soft smooth finish and has a lovely soft drape. It is made of 100 percent polyester fibres so this fabric will not easily crease and it is machine washable and easy care and at a great price too. It is a light weight fabric and is so versatile! You can make so many styles of clothing with this fabric including tops, blouses, skirts and dresses. It is also ideal to use as a soft lining for other fabrics. Because of the fantastic price point it is also a great fabric to use for making toiles when you need something with drape. It comes in a fantastic colour range with a colour to suit every taste and occasion. It is a must have for your fabric stash! Please note, this is a budget fabric and may have slight pulls or discrepancies in the weave and the colour may change considerably between batches due to the dying process of this fabric.
