• Chiffon, traditionally made from silk but now often crafted from polyester, is a light, semi-transparent fabric with a fine mesh-like weave. Its ethereal, almost weightless quality gives it a soft, floaty appearance, making it ideal for creating romantic and delicate styles with a magical, flowing effect.
• This is a lovely light weight fabric ideal for dressmaking. This fabric is available in a great variety of colours and weighs approximately 65 grams per square metre.
• Suggested Washing Instructions: 40 degrees. Please allow 10% shrinkage for all fabrics to be on the safe side and always test a sample first to find the most suitable way to wash your chosen fabrics.
• Approx Width: 150cm / 60" - Our fabrics are cut off the roll and will always be sent in one continuous length. If for any reason we cannot send your fabric in one piece we will contact you to discuss the options.
• For all fabrics we advise washing before making up in the same manner as you would with subsequent washes (including drying methods) to remove any shrinkage
