• Suiting refers to woven fabrics used for suits and tailored garments, typically made from wool, cotton, polyester, or blends. These fabrics are strong, durable, and versatile, offering options for sharp tailoring or softer draping, depending on the desired fit and structure of the garment.
• This is a lovely medium weight fabric ideal for dressmaking. This fabric is available in a great variety of colours and weighs approximately 183 grams per square metre.
• Suggested Washing Instructions: 40 degrees. Please allow 10% shrinkage for all fabrics to be on the safe side and always test a sample first to find the most suitable way to wash your chosen fabrics.
• Approx Width: 145cm / 58" - Our fabrics are cut off the roll and will always be sent in one continuous length. If for any reason we cannot send your fabric in one piece we will contact you to discuss the options.
• For all fabrics we advise washing before making up in the same manner as you would with subsequent washes (including drying methods) to remove any shrinkage

Our polyester suiting fabric, also known as bi stretch, is an extremely versatile medium weight, dyed 100% polyester suiting fabric. It has give in the fabric but not a true stretch which makes it as easy to sew as it is comfortable to wear! It is woven to create a strong durable fabric. Often used for trousers, skirts and jackets, it is machine washable and tumble dryable, and available in a huge range of colours. All fabric is cut from the roll and available to order by the metre.
