Ensure the nail clippers are clean and undamaged before use. 2. Position the built-in guard to prevent overcutting. 3. Firmly grasp the dog's paw. 4. Place the clipper at a 45-degree angle to the nail. 5. Squeeze the handles to activate the spring-loaded cutting mechanism. 6. Stop cutting when you see the quick (the pink part inside the nail). 7.
