Butyl tape is stretchable in a strong, anti-aging grey colour. The tape binds to wood, stone, plastic, steel, concrete, and glass and is appropriate for all exterior sealing tasks. Application hints: Clean the surface first from dust particles before applying the tape. In cold weather the tape needs to be warmed first before applying. You can use hair dryer to warm the surface of butyl tape. The butyl tape's adhesive is quite powerful to guarantee the install effect. Once it adheres to something, it won't be easy to remove. Therefore, make sure you just remove a small portion of the backing film each time. Scissor will work better than knife in cutting the tape .
