• MESEMBRYANTHEMUM LIVINGSTONE DAISY MIX SEEDS: Easy to grow vibrant simple flowers on compact succulent plants. Perfect for hot dry spots, rockeries, containers and gravel gardens.
• SOW: February to June, FLOWERS: June to September, HEIGHT: 7.5cm, PREFERS: Full Sun, SEEDS: 2000 Approx.
• FOR INDOOR SOWING: WHEN - February to May. WHERE – In trays of seed compost. HOW - Sow thinly, cover with a fine layer of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at approx. 15-20°C. Seedlings appear 14-28 days.
• CARE - Remove cover when seedlings appear. Grow on at approx. 10-15°C. When large enough transplant 5cm apart in trays. Gradually acclimatise plants to outside conditions from late May onwards (avoid frosts). Transplant 15cm apart in flowering position. Keep moist and weed free. FLOWERS – June to September.
• FOR OUTDOOR SOWING: WHEN - May to June. WHERE – In a prepared seed bed in flowering position. HOW - Sow thinly in rows 15cm apart. Cover lightly with fine soil. CARE - When large enough thin to 15cm apart. Keep moist and weed free. FLOWERS – June to September. Remove dead heads to prolong flowering.
