Product Description Merula Cup XL - ecological, economical and comfortable. The Merula Cup XL menstrual cup is the ideal companion for very heavy bleeding, because it has an extra large capacity (up to 50 ml ≈ 2.5 Super Plus tampons). It is made from 100% medical silicone, is free from plasticisers, vegan and is produced in Germany. This can fit weak to strong pelvic floor muscles and is suitable for a medium to high-rise portio thanks to the shortenable soft ladder handle. For very low-fitting portio or if you feel your vagina as particularly "tight", we recommend the Merula Cup "one size". It doesn't matter if you have already given birth to children or how old you are. Directions Inserting: Fold the cup and insert. The cup opens out again inside and creates a leak-proof seal. Removing: Take hold of the cup by the stem, press in the round part of the cup (to release the suction) and remove. Empty the content into the toilet and clean the cup. Adapting to fit: First try out the cup with the whole stem. If required, use nail scissors to remove 1 rung of the stem. Cleaning: Boil the cup in water with a little vinegar for 5 minutes. Store in an airy place. The menstrual cup can also be worn for up to 8 hours at a time. Safety Warning Please note the following instructions when using the Merula Cup: Always wash your hands thoroughly before and after removing your cup. - Wear your cup only during the period and not during the puerperium. - Always carefully remove the negative pressure before removing your cup. - Clean your cup after 8 hours at the latest and boil it at least once in the cycle, before the next period begins. - Always keep your cup out of reach of children and animals. - Remove your cup if you experience pain while wearing. - Remove your cup before sexual intercourse, as there is a risk of injury. The Merula Cup is neither suitable for contraception nor does it protect against sexually transmitted diseases. - If you wear an intrauterine device (spiral/chain/ball/…), seek medical advice before using a menstrual cup. If the thread of your intrauterine device occurs longer, it may be that it is slipped. - If you have persistent pain after removing your cup, please consult a doctor. - If your cup has first signs of material fatigue, please dispose of it via the residual bin and replace it for a new one. Consider changing your cup after 3-5 years.
