Our beautiful Fair Trade leather photo albums are the perfect way to display and protect treasured photographs. Each photo album contains 30 pages of recycled paper. The paper used in these albums is handmade from recycled cotton which is leftover from the massive garment industry in India. It is acid-free because only unbleached cotton is used and it produces a beautiful paper, easy to write, draw or paint on and perfect for preserving photos. The paper is made by a charity in Rajasthan that promotes women's education and their social standing in the rural villages. The leather used is a by-product of the meat industry in India and is tanned using only natural dyes. Due to the handmade nature of these products colour and designs may slightly vary but loveliness comes as standard. The embossing has been expertly created using small individual handmade tools making each journal unique. The pages have been bound by hand so they are strong and perfect for travelling. The paper is great for water-colour painting. Due to the fact that these products are individual, rustic and handmade, the colour and designs may slightly vary but loveliness comes as standard.
