Max the 1st

After the release of their highly acclaimed promotional disc in 2005 which included the track "The Pain" which was given heavy rotation on Norwegian national television Max Midsun is now ready to unleash their debut album "Max the 1st" on Morningstar Records. Being the child of well known producer Rune Stavnesli (Keep of Kalessin, Cadillac, Necrophagia, Griffin +), "Max the 1st" will give Max Midsun the attention they deserve, blending the chugging punch of down-tuned guitars and groovy backbone of drums and bass. All this topped with desperate, melodic vocals giving the music a unique edge somewhere in the crossroads between Queens of the Stoneage, System of a Down, Tool, Entombed and Alice in Chains.
