Masquerade

An erotic masked ball only a small circle are privy to the private parties taking place in the ancient palaces of the lagoon city during Carnival. Masquerade offers a glimpse at this unique affair. Hand-colored photographic reproductions depict guests and artists at the ball in elaborate costumes and lascivious erotic poses. The pictures by the Italian photographer Marco Bertin are exhibited across Europe. With Masquerade, his erotic costume photographs appear exclusively and for the first time in a book.
