The handle is covered by a smooth black plastic handle which is resistant to virtually all chemicals and solvents, and weighted for the perfect balance. The Joint Knife has a built in steel hammer end for hammering and setting nails making this a multifunctional tool and means you don't need a separate hammer for the small jobs our Joint Knife can do.
