Marshalls Garden Ivy-Leaved Cyclamen (Cyclamen hederifolium) bulbs produce fragrant autumn flowers in bright pink, purple or white and attractive silver-marbled, ivy-shaped leaves that last through winter into spring. Fully established plants spread to about 15 cm, creating a low carpet of colour beneath shrubs and trees. Thriving in partial or full shade, these hardy perennials prefer dappled light under deciduous plants and are sheltered from hot summer sun. Plant bulbs outdoors in autumn at a depth of 3 cm, water moderately during the growing season, then reduce watering after flowering and keep dry in summer. They self-seed readily, making them ideal for naturalising in borders, pots, lawns, wildlife and cottage gardens.
