Marshalls Garden Cabbage Seeds 'Felicity' F1 is a Japanese-type round cabbage hybrid that forms firm, tasty heads of around 1 kg. Suitable for sowing indoors or outdoors, Felicity is hardy and low maintenance when grown in firm, well-drained fertile soil with pH 6.0–7.0. Sow indoors 1 cm deep in pre-watered compost at 10–15°C, then transplant seedlings after hardening off. Sow outdoors in a shallow pre-watered row, keep soil moist and thin seedlings as directed. Transplant when seedlings have four true leaves, firm in and water well during dry spells. Avoid planting where other Brassicas were grown the previous year and protect with netting or fleece against pests. Harvest season typically September to November, making it an ideal choice for patio containers, small plots and raised beds.
