Manual Rail Cutter Operating Instructions How to Use the Ruler for Precise Cuts Extend and Secure the Ruler : Unfold the ruler horizontally and snap it into the fixed position of the bottom plate for stability during measurement. Attach the Slider Baffle : Install the slider baffle on the slider, securing it with screws to allow the baffle to open and close freely for accurate positioning. Position the Slider : Slide the slider along the ruler to the exact scale position where the cut needs to be made on the guide rail. Secure the Slider : Tighten the fixing screws of the slider to ensure it remains stationary at the desired measurement. Insert the Guide Rail : Place the guide rail into the cutting mechanism until it makes contact with the baffle for proper alignment. Cut the Guide Rail : Press down firmly on the handle to initiate the cutting process through the guide rail. Remove the Cut Rail : After cutting, open the baffle and carefully remove the cut piece of the guide rail. Repeat Cutting : If the cutting length remains unchanged, continue cutting without adjusting the slider; if the length changes, repeat the above steps for precise measurement. Post-Cutting Procedure : After completing all cuts, return the ruler to its original position, retract the handle, and store the rail cutter in a safe place.
