The DC18RD Twin Port Charger is a two port charger, capable of charging two Makita 14.4V or 18V Li-ion LXT slide type batteries at the same time. The DC18RD can also charge Ni-MH batteries with an optional adapter (not included). The DC18RD features a fully charged sound alert, LED charging display, electronic current limiter for overload protection and forced air cooling system. The cooling fan keeps the battery temperature lower for minimum charging time. The DC18RD will charge 14.4V and 18V Li-ion LXT slide type batteries; 3.0 Ah in 22 minutes, 4.0 Ah in 36 minutes, 5.0 Ah in 45 minutes and 6.0 Ah in 55 minutes. The DC18RD Twin Port Charger is not compatible with G-Series batteries.
