Makita’s HSS Bi-Metal holesaw range have variable 4/6 pitch tooth design, available in sizes 14mm diameter up to 152mm diameter and are recommended for cutting steel, aluminium, copper, brass, wood and plastic. The D-17083 is a 51mm diameter holesaw equipped with extra hard high speed steel teeth and a deep cutting capacity through 2 by 4 materials. The D-17083 is constructed from HSS Bi-Metal for increased durability and performance with a flexible shatter resistant steel body for a longer service life. Arbors connect the holesaw to the drill chuck and the pilot bit. Arbors are available with hex (3 jaw chuck) and SDS-Plus shanks. Arbor D-17186/D-17619 is suitable, available separately.
