Product description
AN 335 is a self-tapping threaded insert with external and internal thread, with cutting slot. Thread must always be inserted slotted end first, as the slot provides the cutting action to tap into the materials for which the insert is intended. In slotted region, insert demonstrates a minimal inward springing action. After assembly (e.g. bolt) insert stresses on to bolt thread in the slot so creating a certain screw locking effect. Insert is a fastener for creation of wear-free, vibration resistant screw joints with high loading capacity
