Product description Create your own stunning aquatic effects by adding Lumi-Stone gravel to your aquarium / fishtank / fishpond. After as little as 10 mins exposure to daylight (or indoor lighting) the gravel will glow for up to 6hrs. The gravel is pale green by day and glows GREEN in darkness. The visibility of the glow depends upon one's perception. The glow lasts many hours, but how well you see the glow depends upon a number of factors. If there is any surrounding ambient light then your eyes will be drawn to that light source and you will not see the glow very well. It is essential to have the products in as much darkness as possible. The darker, the better. Your eyes need to be adjusted to the dark in order for the glow to be visible. If you get up in the middle of the night and walk into a dark room with the product in, you will see it glowing brightly. However if you move from a well-lit place or daylight and walk into the same dark room, although the glow will still be strong you will not see it until your eyes adjust to the darkness.
