These lantern posts are only suitable for supply voltages of 3V. Do not use it directly on 12 V or 16 V to avoid damaging the LED. You need to switch a resistor in series before you can use it on 12V or 16V. I will supply compatible resistors for free. Please also attach the correct operating current 20mA to each LED.
