- Hand-selected blanks for self-strumming, LP skin blanks are ideal for upgrading beginner bongos or bongos for which replacement skins are no longer available. Skin blanks are manufacturer-independent and adapt optimally to any shell and tension hoop (rim).
- Thickness: approx. 1 mm (Bongo, Batá), material: untanned buffalo skin
- Hints: Continue to use the metal ring from the old coat. To prepare the change of coat, let the old coat and the blank soak in warm water for approx. 3-4 hours. This enables the removal of the metal ring and gives the blank the necessary consistency for further processing.
- The sizes indicated are downward compatible and are suitable for boilers up to the crown diameter indicated., LP wire rings (Skin Wire) are available for common tension hoop sizes.
