- 100 g of blackcurrant pomace powder is equivalent to roughly 700 g of organic blackcurrants. Our blackcurrant (Ribes nigrum) powder is made from juice pressed berries. That means that valuable parts of the berries, peels and seeds, have been used. Peels and skins of the black currants are dried at low temperature (50-55°C) for 48 hours and then milled into blackcurrant powder
- Our organic blackcurrant powder tastes genuine and fresh. It has a vibrant colour. All our blackcurrants are harvested from organic gardens in Northern Europe. LOOV’s organic blackcurrant powder is dark purple in colour and tastes like blackcurrants
- Organic blackcurrant powder is fine and mixes in smoothies, yoghurt, porridge, cereal flakes, muesli, tea and protein shakes. Berry powder tastes great in baked goods (muffins, cakes, etc.). Please note that as the fruit powder is made from blackcurrants and nothing else, the powder (like fresh blackcurrants) will not dissolve in water
