- INDOOR PLANTING: Sprinkle seeds onto the surface of the soil in trays of moist compost and cover lightly, be careful not to over-water. Store in a warm place at an approx. Temperature of 15-20°C (60-68°F)
- GROWING ON: When the seedlings are strong enough to handle, they can be transplanted into bigger pots or trays. Do not overcrowd the plants and keep in a warm, light position. Once all chance of frost has passed the plants can be transplanted direct into your desired location in May. Harden off first
- SCIENTIFIC NAME: Lobelia erinus. A superb trailing lobelia will create a stunning display of white, red, blue and mauve flowers. Grow in deep, fertile, reliably moist soil in full sun or partial shade. Apply a balanced fertilizer every two weeks during spring and early summer and a nitrogen free fertilizer every two weeks from mid-summer onwards
- TIPS: Trim back plants, after the first flush of blooms fades, to encourage further flowering. This variety is edible – Use the petals for decorating cakes, or add to soups, sauces and salads
