Little Dieter Needs To Fly

This documentary tells the story of Dieter Dengler who grew up in Germany and had a passion for planes, he emigrates to the U.S and joins the navy in order to become a pilot during the Vietnam war. Dieter was shot down, captured and tortured before becoming one of the few American prisoners to escape. Working with Herzog he recreates his incredible story.
