With the STROFT ABR, the tuning focus is on wear and abrasion resistance. This is the abbreviation ABR (abrasion or English abrasion). Another tuning specification is to achieve the tensile strength values of STROFT GTM. Both specifications are realised by a tempering process, in which additional strong pressure is applied. This makes the surface highly compacted and therefore more susceptible to UV rays and scratches. In addition, the water absorption is lower, which further improves the wet tensile strength values even during prolonged water storage. STROFT ABR is therefore slightly harder, but still sufficiently supple. Even under the toughest use when fishing over rocky ground or over shell benches, as well as when used in salt water and in sunlight, the tensile strength is maintained to a extent, as with no other monofilament fishing line. STROFT ABR is therefore the right fishing line for all types of fishing, where full reliability must be ensured even after the hardest continuous use.
