Description The Lindy USB 2.0 Cat.6 Extender extends the distance between four USB peripheral devices and a PC over distances up to 140m using a single Cat.6 UTP or higher network cable. Cat.5e UTP/STP cable can be used in lengths up to a maximum of 120m. This Extender is a two-part hardware solution comprising of a transmitter that connects directly to your computer and a receiver that connects to the USB device. With a robust aluminium housing and mounting points, it is the ideal solution for providing remote access to printers, scanners, webcams and external HDD & flash drive storage. The Extender is also perfect for digital signage applications, home network integration, industrial control, security, USB device sharing, and KVM extension. The included power supply for the receiver unit ensures secure and uninterrupted power to all devices. Please note: Through the use of the Signal Repeater No. 42709 distances can be doubled up to 280m.
