About this item
- Giant butterbur, a striking perennial 100 to 150cm tall, with massive rounded leaves forming an umbrella like canopy over tall fleshy stems in a damp shaded border
- A spread of 150 to 300cm makes this a vigorous plant for a large damp border, stream edge or naturalistic scheme with plenty of room to expand over the seasons
- Dense clusters of small pink flowers rise just above ground from February to April, giving early season interest before the leaves reach full size in the border
- Grows in partial shade to full shade in damp ground, suiting stream edges, shaded damp borders and naturalistic schemes with dramatic structure and bold foliage
- Medium to high difficulty given its vigour, while the foliage shelters small wildlife and the early flowers feed pollinating insects in spring as they emerge

I wrote to Bigamart's customer support and they accompanied the process of reshipping the item until it finally arrived. I felt a genuine effort to solve the problem till it was finally solved.

The package was here in Australia from England in a few days — so quick! Something was missing and they refunded it straight away. Pretty happy with these guys.
