About this item
- White star sedge for the shallow marginal shelf, forming slender upright grass like foliage 40 to 60cm tall and planted at a water depth of just 0 to 5cm
- Neat clump forming habit with a spread of 30 to 50cm, well suited to a small pond margin, bog garden or moist border where space at the water edge is limited
- Distinctive green and white star shaped bracts rise above the foliage from July into November, an unusually long late season display for bees and pollinators
- Prefers full sun to partial shade in permanently wet soil or shallow water, and is hardy to H3 so it benefits from shelter through a hard British winter
- An easy low difficulty marginal, the dense clumps shelter small wildlife along wet edges and the late flowers feed pollinating insects well into autumn

The package was here in Australia from England in a few days — so quick! Something was missing and they refunded it straight away. Pretty happy with these guys.
