About this item
- Ben Hope is a heavy-cropping, late-season blackcurrant with medium-sized, well-flavoured berries. The vigorous, upright bush resists mildew, leaf spot, rust, big bud and gall midge.
- MATURE SIZE: height 100 - 150 cm (39 - 59 inches), spread 100 - 150 cm (39 - 59 inches) — plan for this once established rather than the size supplied, and use it when spacing plants.
- POSITION: Prefers full sun to partial shade — light is the single biggest factor in how well it performs, so give it the brightest position that suits the rest of your planting.
- Blooming / Harvesting Months: July - August (late season). Space plants properly along a row rather than crowding them. Soft fruit crops better with sun on it for at least half the day.
- EASY TO GROW, RATED LOW DIFFICULTY — it tolerates ordinary conditions and the occasional missed watering, which makes it a sensible choice if you are new to this.

I wrote to Bigamart's customer support and they accompanied the process of reshipping the item until it finally arrived. I felt a genuine effort to solve the problem till it was finally solved.

The package was here in Australia from England in a few days — so quick! Something was missing and they refunded it straight away. Pretty happy with these guys.
