Product Description Lifeplan acidophilus tablets is a probiotic culture with the friendly bacteria species L. acidophilus and rhamnosus. Lifeplan's acidophilus tablets are prepared using a guaranteed 4 billion 'friendly' bacteria. These friendly bacteria form a part of the natural balance in a healthy digestive system and so are important in preventing symptoms like abdominal pain, bloating, diarrhoea and discomfort. This product was used in a clinical trial and was found to significantly reduce the risk of gastric infection in rats. This product has been specially freeze-dried so that it does not require refrigeration and can withstand temperatures of up to 20°C.
