- LETTUCE RED & GREEN SALAD BOWL MIX ORGANIC SEEDS: Organically grown lettuce seed for beautiful oakleaf shaped red and green leaves. Can be picked as cut and come again crops for baby leaf salads.
- SOW: March to August, HARVEST: April to October, SEEDS: 750 Approx.
- FOR OUTDOOR SOWING: WHEN - March to July and to August for baby leaves. WHERE - In a prepared seed bed or large container. HOW - Sow thinly in rows 25cm apart. Cover with 1.5cm of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. Seedlings appear 7-14 days. For continuous crops sow every 2-3 weeks.
- CARE - For 'cut and come again' baby leaves no further thinning is required. Or, when large enough thin to 15cm apart for mature lettuces. Keep moist and weed free. Protect early sowings with cloches. HARVEST – April to October. For individual baby leaves, pick as required, a few from each plant. Leaves then regrow for up to 4 cuts. Pick whole heads from June.
