The story is also my story. Since I was two years old I have suffered from neurodermatisis Back then this skin disorder was not well known and conventional cosmetics and medical creams did not help me. This is why, even in my youth, I began to look at alternative skin care possibilities. During this time I began to cultivate my own plants and develop formulations for natural cosmetics that might help my skin. I created my first product, a lip balm, in 1975 and I will never forget its formula of wool wax, beeswax and olive oil. Then in 1987 after more than 10 years of research and cosmetic development, I founded my own company : laverana Gmbh. These natural cosmetics you now know as lavera, a name carefully chosen for its meaning: in Latin lavera means "the truth" A translation that, for us, is a dedication to both our philosophy and commitment.
