Misalignment reduces the sensing range by deviating from the optimal magnetic field conduction zone for the reed switch contact. Severe misplacement may prevent the switch from detecting the magnetic attraction, resulting in switch failure. Pre-marking positions using a pen prior to drilling is advised. 2.The door contact solely transmits a switch signal to the transmitter unit.
