About this item
- Latin Name: Hydrangea serrata Preziosa
- Common Name: Lacecap Hydrangea
- Characteristics: Hydrangea Preziosa is a deciduous shrub with bronze leaves when the plant is young, with a deep red colour forming in Autumn. The flowers appear in a cluster of pink colour, with a purple tint to join it in both Summer and Autumn. Due to the plants deciduous nature, it will lose its leaves later in the year, before returning with fresh new foliage in Spring.
- Plant Advice: Hydrangea should be planted in moist, well-drained soil and kept in full sun at the best of times. If kept in full sunlight, watering should be done so that the soil is never dry to touch. However, if placed in dappled shade, regular watering should only take place in the first few weeks as it establishes itself.

The package was here in Australia from England in a few days — so quick! Something was missing and they refunded it straight away. Pretty happy with these guys.
