Matt White Polypropylene Labels These labels come on sheets of polypropylene with a matt finish and a permanent adhesive backing. Compatible with laser and inkjet printers. They are incredibly durable and due to the material, you can print on them with inkjet printers and your print will be 100% waterproof. Our labels have been tested by being submerged in salt water at mid-tide for 3 months, in order to conform to the BS5609 standard for marine immersion. These particular labels work well on any flat surface, they were designed to be durable enough to be used on hazardous chemical containers so they are one of the toughest labels we have. If you require a more pliable label, we recommend our Matt White Polyethylene labels (MWPE) They have been tested to the same standard but they are more flexible and designed for curved surfaces, however their material is designed for waterproof laser printing not inkjet printing and so, though you can print on those labels with inkjet printers, the print will not be waterproof. Before using any self-adhesive sheets through any printer, read the printer manual and follow the manufacturer's instructions. Never feed sheets through twice or use when a label has been removed. Always gently fan the sheets to remove static. Because of the wide range of printers and technologies in use, the use of this product is outside of our control. Therefore, these products are sold on the clear understanding that the user has independently checked the product for its suitability for the final purpose of use and for the printing system used.
