You can apply as a swipe, or as dots, and blend with your fingers or your favourite brush. For shaping the face: Use a shade that is a few shades darker than your concealer shade to contour where needed, to sharpen your facial contours and change the shape of your features where you wish. Use a shade that is a few shades lighter than your concealer shade to highlight different zones: under eyebrows, over the nose bridge, near the lip contour, in order to achieve a highlighted and lifted look.
