Product Description Kusuri Fluke-P is a 5% Praziquantel based medication used to eradicate Gill Flukes, Body Flukes and Tapeworms. This treatment is safe to use without destroying the bacteria in the filter and can be used at any temperature. While dosing with Fluke P you can continue to feed. If the mucus layer is excessive, we advise dosing with Chloramine T at 10g per 1000 gallons, 12 hours before using Fluke P, this will assist in reducing the mucus membrane where body flukes can sometimes get trapped. Kusuri Fluke-P is not an invasive, toxic medication like Kusuri Malachite Green and Kusuri Formalin 30%. Fluke P may require a second dose after 7 days in heavy infestations. Kusuri recommend a mucus scrape and microscope identification prior to a second application. For use with all cold freshwater ornamental fish and marine aquarium fish. Kusuri Fluke-P has a four year shelf life from date of manufacture and should be used within three months of opening. At 10°C a second dose may be required. Please ensure that you read, understand and follow, all Health and Safety guidelines on the bottle. Directions Directions: Switch UV steriliser, carbon filter and protein skimmer off until treatment is complete for a minimum of 3 days. Tighten cap and mix well. Use cup to measure the correct dose. Add to a clean watering can then add Fluke P, gradually across the surface area of the pond over a one hour period. This is designed as a one off treatment but may require a second dose after 7 days in heavy infestations. We recommend a scrape and microscope identification prior to a second application.
