With this dog bodysuit, the possibilities are endless: use them as Long John pajamas, an exercise ensemble, post-surgery recovery suit, or as a containment suit for shedding. On those extra frigid days, layer your favorite dog coat on top for full coverage ie: the Kurgo North Country Coat or Loft Jacket (sold separately). Completely breathable four way stretch polyester/spandex fabric for a comfortable & cozy fit. Includes dual zippers for easy harness or collar access. The tall, protective collar acts as a scarf to keep your dog's neck warm. Plus, it's easy to take your dog outside to do their business with the open rear area in the back. When measuring your pup, back length is the most important. Sleeve length will vary based on the height of the dog. Care Instructions: Machine wash gentle cycle, air dry or tumble dry low. Due to the variety of dog shapes out there, the Base Layer might not be a perfect fit for every pup. Here are some adjustments you can make so your dog can adventure in style: 1) If legs are too long, fold the excess fabric inside, and secure the fabric in place using a hook and loop fabric adhesive, or hem with a sewing machine. 2) If legs are too loose, vertically fold the excess fabric, and secure in place using a hook and loop fabric adhesive. 3) If the belly area is too loose, use the belly band to provide a more snug fit. 4) If the neck area is too baggy, use the neck adjustment cord to secure in place.
