Every hour on the hour you’ll hear 15 seconds of beloved German children’s songs: At 1 o’clock, “Fuchs, du hast die Gans gestohlen”; at 2 o’clock, “Backe, backe Kuchen”; at 3 o’clock “Tuff tuff tuff, die Eisenbahn”; and so on. The clock features instrumental versions of these cheerful melodies played on an alto flute and a zither.
- Each song has been lovingly interpreted by famous children’s book illustrator Klaus Bliesener in magical drawings that kids are sure to love.
- Thanks to the light sensor, the music in the nursery will stop once darkness falls, letting little boys and girls get a good night’s sleep.
