This must be removed before first use. Before using the nail brush for the first time submerge it in water and apply slight pressure to the brush head and twist to separate the bristles. Dry the bristles with a paper towel. The brush is now ready to use. After use make sure you clean the brush with brush cleaner/liquid monomer to prevent the acrylic on the brush from clumping.
