Blue counter for 2mm to 5mm needles. Red counter for 4.5mm to 6.5mm needles. It is very simple to use stick counters. You simply turn the white rings at the ends so the number goes up with what you need. One ring counts up with 1, while the other counts up in the 10-row. You can count from 00 to 99 with each of these lap counters. In this package you get both a small and a large lap counter. The only difference between them is what size sticks they can best sit on. You put it on your stick by sticking the stick through the hole at one end and through the lap counter. It can sit both ways so it fits the way you see it.
