Description of double-sided foil tape: KM 2401 is a double-sided mounting tape, consisting of a thin PET film carrier (125 my), coated on both sides with a solvent acrylate adhesive. The double sided foil tape provides a very high initial adhesion as well as excellent adhesion to most surfaces. It is also characterised by excellent resistance to environmental influences, e.g. UV light, heat and moisture. Application description of the double adhesive tape: KM 2401 film tape provides excellent instant adhesion and secure bonding to smooth, rough or low-energy surfaces, e.g. PP, PE etc. The double-sided adhesive tape is used in the digital electrical industry, e.g. for mounting displays, battery compartments, rubber parts or mounting frames on mobile phones and digital cameras. Technical data: Adhesive: solvent acrylate modified. Backing material: PET film, transparent, 125 µm. Total thickness: approx. 0.24 mm. Cover: silicone paper Peeling force (Afera 4001, 180°): 10 minutes 32 N/25 mm, 24 hours 41 N/25 mm. Shear force (ASTM D-1002): 10 minutes 125 N/625 mm², 24 hours 141 N/625 mm². Long-term temperature range: -20 °C to +80 °C. Short-term temperature range: -30 °C to + 120 °C. Storage: Unprocessed, the storage time of the double adhesive tape or mounting tape is 12 months after receipt by the customer in the original packaging at 50% relative humidity and approx. 20 °C storage temperature.
